A word from the Author

Hello! I am so glad you picked up this story! I am so excited for you to dive into this world with me! I'll be trying to update every Sunday, unless there is an emergency. I also have a wattpad account under the same name, so please do check it out I am glad to have every one of you here, and I hope you all enjoy Avni and Viraaj's story!

However, before you proceed, the story contains some themes that could be distressing for some readers. So I hope all my readers will take care of yourselves and be mindful of the content warnings!

I will give relevant content warnings in the beginning of each chapter, but in general, the story contains :

Mature themes, mentions of attempted suicide, suicidal ideation, mentions of parental neglect, grief/loss of loved ones, car accident, attempted murder, emotional trauma, anxiety/panic attacks

Secondly! I am going to be trying to write this entire story in English! In the past, I have written stories with a mix of english and hindi dialogues, but I wanted to try to write one fully in english. So please be lenient with me regarding grammar or spelling mistakes and feel free to let me know if I missed something in my editing!

Thirdly, please be respectful in the comments! I hope this can be a peaceful space where we can just enjoy the story.

Finally! Here's some sneak peek into the tropes you can expect from the story.

Forced proximity
Marriage of convenience
Amnesia
Corporate espionage
Found family
Yearning
Second chance at first love
Protective MMC
Smart FMC
Slow Burn

This story is deeply personal to me, exploring themes of grief, recovery and what it means to be loved for who you are—not what you can provide. Avni and Viraaj's journey is about two people who believe they're unworthy of love learning that they've been worthy all along. I hope their story touches your heart the way it has touched mine.

Happy reading! ❤️

I want to publish my own novels someday! But before that, I want to build my skills and craft by writing what I love, which is romance and complex, painfully human characters finding love and comfort and home.
